The 2026 General Election is just a few weeks away. This November, all 203 Pennsylvania House seats and 25 of the 50 Senate seats will be on the ballot. Decisions made by the state legislature can have lasting impacts on lawsuits, health care, insurance, jobs and consumer prices. To help keep voters informed, PCCJR has developed a 2026 voter guide to provide an overview of the legal issues impacting the Commonwealth.
When legislators support policies that expand liability in the Commonwealth – it leads to higher prices for job creators, the health care industry and consumers. Pennsylvania is already regarded as one of the nation’s worst “Judicial Hellholes.” This serves as a major red flag to potential investors who are looking for states in which to grow or expand their businesses. We need lawmakers who are dedicated to enacting laws and policies that will bring stability, predictability and fairness to Pennsylvania’s civil justice system.
The guide also links to PCCJR’s legislative scorecard where you can see how incumbent legislators have voted on legislation impacting the state’s civil justice climate.
PCCJR encourages voters to review the “2026 Voter’s Guide” and exercise your right to vote this November!
