PCCJR Releases Guide to the Supreme Court Retention Election!

Do you know that three of the seven justices on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court are standing for retention for another ten year term on the bench? Justices Kevin Dougherty, Christine Donohue, and David Wecht are asking for your support for another ten year term. This gives you, the voter, a tremendous amount of power to determine the future of the Supreme Court when you vote on November 4, 2025.

To educate voters on the importance of this judicial retention election, PCCJR has created a guide to the November 4 Supreme Court Retention Election.

In this guide, PCCJR explains what is at stake on November 4, the prominent issues of liability, damages, venue, and jurisdiction, the trend of the Supreme Court since 2015, and the percentage of time the Justices standing for Retention voted to expand liability, damages, venue, or jurisdiction. The “receipts” are found at the end of the document. By clicking on the link found on the last page, you will see the cases impacting civil justice that were evaluated to arrive at the statistics in the Retention Guide.
