PCCJR Executive Director Curt Schroder was recently featured on an episode of the Lincoln Radio Journal program. In an interview with host Lowman Henry, Schroder discussed Pennsylvania’s notorious reputation as a top “Judicial Hellhole” in the country and the growing trend of nuclear verdicts – particularly in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
“These verdicts impact individuals and businesses and healthcare across Pennsylvania,” Schroder said. “When these verdicts run wild…as they are right now in the city of Philadelphia, …it increases costs of everything for everyone. So if you’re a small business person and you’re trying to eek out a living with your small business, one lawsuit can put you out of business.”
